The Parkinsons Recovery Cruise is full. I am sorry to report that there is no longer any opportunity to join us. There is a waiting list, but the chances that a cabin will become free are slim.

I don't know about you, but it makes a huge difference to me if I have something to look forward to during the dreary months of winter. The most enchanting dream I have is to go on a cruise to Alaska in the spring time. Parkinsons Recovery & Twin Harbors Travel are pleased to announce the Parkinsons Recovery Alaskan Cruise 2010.

This will be the first cruise of the season by Holland America to Alaska. We will all be healed by the magnificence of the earth when it is just waking up from a sleepy winter.

This 7 night cruise on board Holland Americas' Amsterdam sails May 3 - 10, 2010 from Seattle. The Amsterdam is a medium sized ship. It is used on this cruise because the larger cruise ships cannot navigate their way through Glacier Bay National Park.

The ship will cruise to:

  • Juneau
  • Ketchikan
  • Sitka
  • Victoria BC
  • Glacier Bay National Park

First and foremost this is a vacation for everyone. Parkinson's Recovery will also conduct a free program on board the cruise. You will have the opportunity to meet with the staff & presenters one-on-one in order to address your specific questions & needs.

This cruise offers such a wonderful occasion for personal enrichment & development while having the vacation of a lifetime.

Cruise Fare Includes:

 Free Parkinsons Recovery Workshops by Robert and Deborah

 Free Tai Chi instruction by Daniel Loney

 Free Music Medicine workshop by Suzanne Jonas

 Cruise Transportation on an Elegant Mid-sized ship.

 Spacious Staterooms

 Most Meals & Snacks

 Non-alcoholic Beverages

 Onboard entertainment

 Relaxing time with new friends

 Great Memories & Experiences

 A special surprise!

Fares on this first of the season cruise to Alaska by Holland America are highly competitive, running little more than $100 a day per person. Oceanview & Veranda Staterooms are also available (based on Double Occupancy). Prices do not include taxes & fees. A passport is highly recommended for this cruise.

During the peak season the price can go as high as $2,000, so it definitely pays to be the first cruise out of the shoot. The actual fare varies from day to day and depends on the day of your booking.
